Currently in funding, the XCAM has some great features including large battery, 65mm IPD (distance between cameras), 10-bit HDR color, fast Snapdragon processor and memory, and processing on the device so you can use your footage quicker.
Downsides include few people have handled it yet, it’s much like a phone with built-in, non-removable battery and storage, audio quality doesn’t come through well in their samples, and not all features may be ready by launch.
Still, it looks promising and may be just the device you’ve been looking for!
